GKL GROPHUN KIDZ LEARNING is an initiative to create a cohesive, coordinated system for early year’s (2 to 12 years) programs and services across the province.
Why early learning matters…
Most children do well in school up to the 4th standard but start faltering from the 5th standard.
Reason:
Children are born with billions of brain cells (neurons). By 8 months, a baby’s brain has about 1,000 trillion nerve connections. By the age of 10, that number is reduced to about 500 trillion.
Connections between these cells (synapses) form structures which allow learning to occur. As the brain operates on a “use it or lose it” basis, early experiences are the defining factors affecting the rate of reduction in nerve connections.
Synapses become stronger by repeated use. Those synapses that are not used become weaker and get destroyed after 10 years.
Making use of the first 10 years is really important
Thus, take your kids off the TV or mobile screen and engage them with more diverse early experiences to stimulate their brain cells.
GKL aims to address or nurture
MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE skills in kids using research-based skill modules to make everyone aware about the importance of early-years learning.
Our concept is based on the Multiple Intelligence Theory proposed by Dr. Howard Gardner, followed by New Education Policy-20:
Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence
The ability to understand and reason using concepts framed in words effectively when it comes to analyzing information, communication, and problem-solving.
Logical-Mathematical Intelligence
The ability to think logically, solve problems, and work with abstract concepts and mathematical reasoning.
Visual-Spatial Intelligence
The ability to perceive and manipulate the visual world, understands spatial relationships, and solve problems using visual thinking.
Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence
The ability to use one's body effectively to solve problems, create products, or express ideas.
Musical Intelligence
The ability to accurately perceive and/or produce acts of sound, rhythm, tone, and melody.
Naturalistic Intelligence
The ability to connect with and understand the natural world.
Interpersonal Intelligence
The ability to understand and effectively interact with other people.
Intrapersonal Intelligence
Refers to a person's capacity to understand and navigate their inner world effectively.

Furthermore, NEP-2020 provides an important opportunity to move Indian education from “sorting and selection” to “human development” — enabling every student to develop to their maximum potential.
And, we totally believe that our concept or products will provide a structured approach in NEP-2020 to inculcate or enhance their multiple skills in kids — starting from their sitting habits to critical thinking, followed by concentration or logical abilities. It will help to make a strong learning foundation of kids.
